How to delete backups and folders from iCloud stor­age using iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

Apple iCloud is the primary backup source for almost all devices and services that Apple offers. The iCloud automatically backs up all the data from iPhone, iPad and even Mac devices regularly. Considering Apple, by default offers only 5GB cloud storage space with every Apple account, which might not be sufficient in the long run.
So, if your iCloud storage space is full and you do not want to pay additional charges to buy more space, then deleting old backups and data can help. Follow our step-by-step guide on how to delete old data and backups from iCloud.
Steps to follow:
1.Open Settings app on your iPad or iPhone
2.Now, tap on Apple ID placed at the top of the Settings app
3.Head to iCloud
4.Under iCloud, tap on Manage Storage option
5.Now, tap on Backup
6.Choose the device for which you want to delete the backup
7.Tap the Delete Backup button at the bottom.
8.Tap Turn Off & Delete option
To delete files and folder from iCloud
1.Open Files app and tap Browse
2.Tap on iCloud Drive and choose the files and folders you want to delete
3.Tap on Trash button
4.Now, head back to Locations
5.Tap on Recently Deleted
6.Select all the files you want to delete and tap Delete.
