While there are apps to spot lost smartphones, the option is very limited when it comes to getting the location of lost laptops or other gadgets. Accessories brand Digitek has launched a new ‘anti-lost’ wireless tracker at a price of Rs 595 which will help users to track lost objects. The tracker is paired with an app called ‘Digitek Tracker’ that is available on both Apple App Store and Android Google Play for free.
The tracker is available in three different designs in Black and White colours. It can be attached to a key chain, fitted in a wallet, fixed on the laptop or even tagged in children’s clothing or pet. Once it is paired with the mobile app, the location of the tracker is revealed. It has Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and comes with an extra set of battery.
The tracker can be used to secure cars as well in parking lots. It can detect the car by triggering the inbuilt alarm. The distance range within which the tracker can operate can be configured and altered. It allows a maximum range of 30 meters. The moment the tracker goes out to sync, the alarms starts to ring on the phone. Also, the users are alerted if the tagged object moves outside the range. The tracker can be used to take photos and capture details remotely through their mobile phones. To take photos, users will have to press the button on the Digitek Tracker to trigger the phone take picture or video.
The device is available both at offline retail stores along with e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal and Shopclues.
